A Comparison of React and Angular

JavaScript frameworks are developing extremely quickly, which means that Angular and React versions are frequently updated today. I have decided to share the key advantages and disadvantages of all frontends and help technology professionals and engineers select the best one for their development requirements.

Angular

Angular was founded in 2009 and is an awesome JavaScript MVVM framework that created highly interactive web applications.

Advantages

  • Angular is designed for use next to Typescript. And it is supported exceptionally.
  • Angular language — enables intelligence and the autocompletion of external HTML template files inside the component.
  • New features such as CLI-based angular npm libraries, Angular-based generation and development of web components.
  • MVVM, allowing developers to work independently on the same App section using the same dataset, Model-View-View Model.
  • Dependence injection and modularity in general of features related to the components.

Disadvantages

  • Various structures (injectables, components, pipes, module etc.) make it a little more difficult to learn compared to react, which only have one component in mind.
  • According to different standards, relatively slower performance. On the other hand, the use of the so-called “ChangeDetectionStrategy” can be easily tackled, helping to manually control the component rendering process.

Some Companies that use Angular

  1. Microsoft
  2. YouTube
  3. Apple
  4. Adobe
  5. GoPro

React

React is a JavaScript library, opened in 2013 and developed by Facebook, ideal for creating modern, one-page applications of all dimensions.

Advantages

  • With its simple design, JSX (an HTML-like syntax) can be easily learned to a template and provide very comprehensive documentation.
  • Developers are spending more time writing up-to-date JavaScript and less time working on the specific framework code.
  • Very quick, courteous implementation of Virtual DOM and various optimisation renditions
  • Great server-side rendering support, which makes it a powerful framework for content-driven applications
  • Progressive Web App (PWA) of first-class support, through the generator of the application “create-react-app.”
  • Skills learned from React can (often directly) be applied to the development of React Native.

Disadvantages

  • The response is unannounced and allows developers to make the best choice. Strong project management and good processes can tackle this.
  • In React, the community is divided into traditional CSS stylesheets (CSS module) and CSS-in-JS as best as possible (i.e. Emotion and Styled Components).
  • React moves away from class components, which could provide developers with object-oriented programming more comfortable (OOP).
  • For some developers, first mixing templates with logic (JSX) can be confusing.

Some Companies that use Angular

  1. FaceBook
  2. Instagram
  3. Netflix
  4. New York Times
  5. DropBox

CONCLUSION

Each framework has its own advantages and disadvantages which means that every case should have the right choice during product development.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I hope you now have a better understanding of the Pros and Cons of Angular and React, and that you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
